Section One: Love: The Greatest Emotion, page 38

Charles Haanel said, “It is the combination of thought and love which forms the irresistible force of the law of attraction.” In the New Church we might say, “It’s the marriage of good and truth, or love and wisdom.”

“There is no greater power in the Universe than the power of love.”
“We can become one with God only through love and loving actions, love being the essence of spiritual connection.”
Arcana Coelestia 2349 Emanuel Swedenborg

“If you could wrap every thought in love, if you could love everything and everyone, your life would be transformed.” ... or we would say, “regenerated.”
This is the Law of Love.

“If you think thoughts of love, guess who receives benefits - you!” This is what the Writings would call Mediate Good. There are “rewards” for doing good things. It encourages us to pursue more goodness.

Albert Einstein said, “The most important question any human being can ask themselves is , ‘Is this a friendly Universe?”

This is essentially asking oneself: “Am I a ‘Glass is half-full’ or ‘Glass is half-empty’ kind of person?”

Often we think that it is external stimuli that make us either happy or sad. But it is really an internal personal choice to be happy or sad.
