Section Two: Focus on Prosperity, page 101

Not natural prosperity:
“What sorrow await you who are rich, for you have your only happiness now.
What sorrow await you who are satisfied and prosperous now, for a time of awful hunger is before you.” (Luke 6:24-25)

...but spiritual prosperity:
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall medidate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (Josh 1:8)

“Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.” (John 16:24)

The Lord doesn’t want our uses, our ruling loves to be struggles. Heaven may be a Kingdom of Usefulness and Service, but it’s not a Kingdom of Struggles, it’s a Kingdom of Joy.

Think about what a terrible hypocricy it is to claim that you don’t care about money or being rich because you are a spiritual/religious person, but then your day to day life consists of worrying about paying bills, worrying about not having enough, even thinking bad thoughts about people who are rich.
Be grateful, don’t covet.
